Fishing in Scotland - for Trout and Salmon on the River Spey is immortalised. Some of the finest sea trout fishing in the world, and unaffected by the problems in other areas of Britain. Add great trout fishing on Lochs Ericht, Laggan and the Spey Dam.
The Abernethy Waters is a superb stretch of water consisting of 15 named pools on over 6 miles (10 Km) of double bank fishing on the famous River Spey for salmon, sea trout and brown trout. Available to all visitors staying in Nethy Bridge. The methods allowed are fly, spinning or worm fishing, with certain stretches reserved for fly only when the river reaches a certain level. Each year well in excess of 1100 sea trout are taken from these waters.
A must visit for all is Clan Rods at Nethy Bridge. Clan Rods are the last traditional rod builders in Scotland and therefore have a great responsibility in handling older rods that need repair. Some are for collections, some belonged to granddad, some personalities, some the royal family; they all receive workmanship of the highest quality as they strongly believe in 100%% customer satisfaction.
